Welcome winter

Image from http://www.jurlique.com.au

It’s the second day of winter today and we are just so lucky to have another wonderful day, was out the door by 6:30am and it was a fantastic morning not too cold and no frost.

I started the first day of winter by being treated to some new
Jurlique hand cream from my husband he knows how obsessed I am with hand cream, and the Jurlique brand is my favourite. this time the shop was out of stock of the citrus one so I was surprised with some Rose hand cream instead and its just divine.

Now going to leave you with this little picture of Kooshan that I snapped on the weekend, I think is looks evil and kind of cute in this picture.

Hot off the cutter

The Purple Finch is happy to give all you great people out there a sneak peek at a new design that will be part of a cool range to hit the shops soon,

The Zeppelin is a very exclusive design will only have one stockist in Tasmania. I am proud to say that Year Zero in Launceston will be the super lucky store that will have this cool design.

My Husband has officially stolen my badge and is totally hooked on it, so will have to make myself another one. We had had so many comments about the badge so I am so excited to get working on creating some new designs soon.

The badges are made out of Tasmanian Oak

So head into Year Zero and check them out. 83 St John St, Launceston, just across the road from Myer.

Had a few mins free today, its finally the end of massive Uni assessments and no more development work (building software) well for Uni at least. I have been so keen to knock up a new landing page for my facebook site its kind of help full that I have a massive IT background so this was a walk in the park, about 15 minutes later are the results.

Rain Rain Rain

It is really raining outside at the moment, I just love it when it rains at night and I have lots of work to do. Currently writing technical reports (computer geeky technical reports stuff like that which I do enjoy) and I just love it when its poring down and its night doing this type of work in a cosy room with a little desk lap on, oh bliss for me in a strange geeky kind of way.

Anyway the rain has inspired me to collect a few cute rain related finds and share with you all

Its raining cats and dogs

Inspired to design

I have had this ring for a long time my dad has a stone cutting hobby and has cut many gemstones, this one he made for my mum when they first got together.

My mum gave me this ring a while back and its one of many beautiful fine jewellery pieces that I have in my collection. I don’t really ware many of my other rings because they don’t really go with my beautify wedding bands which is very Victorian inspired.

I have a massive love of Victorian jewellery and fashion, just recently I decided to get an idea that I had in my head and transform it into some lovely pieces

Here is a little sneak peek at a few pieces which is part of a Victorian inspired collection
